About Jayne

Most businesses are invisible online.
I fix that.

I’m Jayne, I’m on a mission to understand how AI can genuinely improve the way we work, think, and live. Not from theory. From doing.

My Mission

I’m testing AI in real-world environments — in my full-time role, in side projects, in systems that simplify life, and in the small experiments that often teach the biggest lessons.

This website is where I share that journey. It’s part blog, part digital notebook, and part public experiment. I’m documenting what I learn as I go — the wins, the failures, the tools, the strategies, and the mindset shifts that come with navigating this new era.

Because I believe the future belongs to people who are willing to trial, learn, and execute. Not just consume information — but apply it. I’m especially interested in practical AI: the kind that saves time, improves decisions, creates leverage, and helps people work smarter without losing what makes us human.

My goal is simple: To build a body of knowledge that’s useful, honest, and grounded in real experience. If you’re curious about AI, digital systems, productivity, or building a better way of working — you’re in the right place. I’m learning in public so others can learn faster.

Welcome to the journey.

How I got here

I didn’t come up through a traditional agency path. I started on the tools — building Webflow websites and doing SEO audits for small businesses on the side. Then I spent time at a design agency in Queenstown as a client manager, which taught me something most marketers miss: what it actually feels like to be the business owner on the other side of the table.

Now I work inside a digital marketing agency, where I see every day what separates the businesses that grow from the ones that stay invisible. Virtual Jayne is where I share that — in public, in real time.

How I work

Four things I believe about digital marketing

01

Strategy before tactics

The tool doesn't matter if the thinking isn't right. I always start with the why before touching the how.

02

AI amplifies good thinking, not bad

AI makes fast work faster and sloppy work sloppier. The human judgment layer is more important now, not less.

03

Visibility is a business problem, not a marketing one

When your ideal customers can't find you, everything else — product, pricing, team — becomes harder. Getting found isn't optional.

04

Build in public, learn in public

The best way to stay ahead is to share what you're figuring out. This blog exists because I believe that.
